INTRODUCING JUNIOR ACTIVITY AT THE EDGBASTON PRIORY CLUB
There is plenty for Juniors to enjoy – play tennis and squash, compete, swim, keep fit and enjoy time with friends after school and during the holidays.
There are lots of tennis courses on offer from Parent and toddler sessions through to advanced players. We also have fun social sessions for children such as Junior Tennis Club, every Sunday from 4pm – this is free for all Junior Members over ten years old. We also run a Performance (link top performance page) programme for gifted young players which is by invitation only.
TENNIS LEADERS COURSE
We regularly run the Tennis Leaders Award, a programme developed by the LTA to help encourage young people to play an active role in delivering the game.
The programme’s aim is to help develop the next generation of coaches, tournament organisers, club managers and tournament officials. It is designed for young people aged 14 and over and can be delivered in either a school or club.

All our Juniors sessions are taught by England Squash qualified and approved coaches, with a ratio of one coach to six players. Parents are also encouraged to take an active involvement in their child’s progress so bring a pair of indoor trainers and come on court to join in the fun!
We have recently launched our EPIC Academy, our high performance squash programme for Juniors. To find out more, ask one of our squash coaches who will be happy to give you more information.

We offer an excellent range of classes for babies through to juniors with all children receiving accredited awards, from the Swimming Teachers Association (STA) on completion of key skills on the courses.
Available to our Juniors, pick up a leaflet at Reception and book your course at Reception.
Our junior gym sessions are held over the weekend, an opportunity for juniors eight and upwards to join their parents/guardians in the gym. Juniors must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Saturday 2.00pm – 3.00pm
Sunday 12.30pm – 1.30pm & 2.00pm – 3.00pm
Extra Junior Gym sessions are offered during the school holidays
Junior fitness sessions are small classes run in the fitness suite by a member of fitness staff. This can be booked at Reception.

Juniors aged 14 and above may join classes, subject to availability
