Please find links below to all the information you need to know prior to visiting the Bar & Bistro from Monday 12th April including the latest menu and all the important protocols in place to adhere to the government legislation and keep us Covid-secure.

Do I need to ‘check in’ via the NHS Track & Trace app if I want to use the Bar & Bistro?
In order to be compliant with government legislation, we are strongly recommending that all members wishing to use the Bar & Bistro check-in via the NHS Track & Trace app. QR codes will be placed around the venue including the entrance to the Bar and the outdoor areas.
If you do not want to use the NHS app then providing you are accessing the Clubhouse via the turnstile with your member card then a record of your visit is maintained.
Please note, if anyone in your group is not accessing the Clubhouse with their member card then they must present themselves at reception to sign in as a guest.
Note that making a table reservation is not sufficient as it does not record the details of your entire party.
How do I access the Bar & Bistro outdoor tables?
You can access the outdoor area via the normal Clubhouse entrance through the turnstiles, from there members can pass through the indoor bar area to access the outdoor areas.
Do I need to book a table in advance?
We are strongly recommending that you always make a reservation in advance of your visit to avoid disappointment. Tables may be available on a walk-in basis but it is anticipated we will be busy at peak times and as the weather improves. Who can I sit with?
The “Rule of 6” will be enforced as per government guidelines: Up to 6 people from any number of households, this includes children. Alternatively a group of any size from up to 2 households. Please note however that furniture must not be moved in any areas as it may compromise social distancing regulations for groups sitting after your visit.
Do you have covered spaces outside to sit under?
Yes we do! We now have covered, heated spaces available both on the pool terrace and lawn side of the Bar & Bistro. When you are booking a table you can select either covered outdoor space or non-covered outdoor space.
How do I turn the heaters on under the covered areas?
The heaters are operated by the Bar & Bistro team and once turned on will operate for one hour before turning off. Please ask a member of the team to turn your heater on if you require it. We also have windscreens available on the covered tables adjacent to the events lawn but they must be operated by the bar team only.
What are the opening times?
- Monday to Friday 8am-10.30pm (last orders for drinks at 10pm). Food served from 10am -8pm (last orders for food 7.45pm).
- Saturday 9am – 9pm (last orders for drinks 8.30pm) with food served 9am – 5.45pm.
- Sunday 9am – 7pm (last orders 6.30pm), food served from 10am – 4pm.
- Please note we will be keeping these times under close review.
How do I order food and drink at my table?
We will once again be using the QR code ordering system available at your table in order to limit unnecessary contact. There is no fee to use this service and member prices are displayed by default. We can take orders at your table but please note that this may result in delays in service to your table. Member cards under this first phase of re-opening cannot be used for payment. Only payment via Chip & Pin or the QR app will be accepted.
Has the food menu changed?
Our menu is available to view here. As we progress through the roadmap we will review the menu. Also note, there is a QR code on our menu which directs members to menu items that are suitable for those with selected food intolerances. Keep an eye out for occasional limited specials available on the QR app.
Will Steak Nights, Pizza Nights and Sunday Roasts be offered?
Steak Nights will re-launch on Thursday 15th April. Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance and be sure to put in the comments “Steak Night” so that we know you intend to dine from the Steak menu (this enables us to plan accordingly).
Friday Pizza Night has moved to Saturdays where it is available all day from 12pm! Advance bookings are recommended.
Sunday Roasts will re-launch on Sunday 18th April. Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance and be sure to put in the comments “Sunday Roast” so that we know you intend to dine from the Roast menu (this enables us to plan accordingly).
Can I use the self-serve water dispenser in the bar?
Yes you can. Please ensure the unit is wiped down after use. You will also need to use your own bottle as disposables will not be issued.
Do I need to wear a face mask?
Members of staff will wear face masks at all times. Members may remove masks when seated at a table but must wear one when navigating the Clubhouse (entering, exiting, using toilet facilities).
Can I order food and drink to take away?
Absolutely. You can order via the QR code or at the Bar and collect it from the Collection Point. If you are ordering via the QR app then please assign your table number as 0. Please ask a member of the team for further details.
What other COVID secure processes do you have in place?
As well as what has already been mentioned above, we have enhanced cleaning routines in place to ensure we keep everyone as safe as possible, hand sanitiser stations remain in place around the bar, bistro and outdoor spaces and we are currently offering single use disposable menus.
Will the Business Lounge be open?
Under the phase of the roadmap starting April 12th only outdoor hospitality areas can open. This means the bar, bistro, family lounge and business use areas indoors will remain closed. Only tables outdoors can be used. This will be reviewed no earlier than 17th May.
Is anything different for members with children?
Families are more than welcome to make a reservation for any table in the outdoor areas. New for our re-opening, a portion of the patio and lawn is now available exclusively for the use of families with a number of garden games available to keep your little ones occupied. Please note that parental supervision is required at all times.
What if the weather is terrible?
Under phase one of the roadmap, indoor hospitality is not allowed under any circumstances, therefore only outdoor seating can be used. The sheltered areas will provide cover from rain, the heaters will provide some respite from cold temperatures but do ensure you dress appropriately for the Spring weather. Perhaps even bring a blanket! Whilst we would love to be able to provide blankets the pandemic currently means we are unable to do so.
