We’re excited to announce that British No.1 and US Open Champion, Emma Raducanu, is set to make her debut at the Rothesay Classic here at Edgbaston Priory Club this summer as she starts her preparations for Wimbledon.
The Rothesay Classic, Britain’s biggest women’s tennis event, takes place from 11th to 19th June. The 19-year-old will be playing her first competitive tournament in front of a British crowd since her run to the last-16 of Wimbledon last summer and her victory in the US Open last September.
This year also marks the 40th anniversary of this prestigious LTA grass-court tournament which was first won by the legend, Billie Jean King, in 1982. It’s a fantastic showcase for grass-court tennis and a guaranteed wonderful day out for members and their guests.
