A world class draw has been announced today for the British Open Squash 2023! The ‘Wimbledon of Squash’ is making its return to Birmingham for the first time since 2001 and headliners are set to battle it out for the British Open titles and their share of the $358,000 prize pot.

We’re thrilled to be hosting the opening two days of the event, before play moves over to The Rep in the heart of Birmingham city centre, where the action will take place on an all-glass showcourt from round three onwards.

England No.1s Mohamed ElShorbagy and Sarah-Jane Perry will compete for the titles alongside defending champions Paul Coll, of New Zealand, and Hania El Hammamy, of Egypt. Our very own Joel Makin, of Wales, is set to play the Peruvian No.2 seed, Diego Elias, in the second round.

Action from Birmingham Rep will be broadcast live on SQUASHTV, while the semi-finals and finals will also be shown live by PSA’s broadcast partners. Streaming details for matches held here at the Club will be announced in due course.

Tickets for the British Open are selling fast! With the semi-finals already having sold out, make sure to get yours now to avoid disappointment.
