Following the Government’s announcement on 20th March, the Club was closed to members  in order to minimise the spread of Covid-19: coronavirus.

On 13th May, we reopened our outdoor tennis courts to members only, following strict government and LTA guidelines, providing singles and doubles play and with social distancing in place.  For the latest guide to playing tennis during Covid-19 visit our news section.

In June, this was followed by the creation of designated areas for one-to-one personal training and two temporary outdoor squash courts for coaching and individual practice.

From 4th July, we reopened the clubhouse for meeting, drinking and eating in line with the government’s guidelines for the reopening of bars and restaurants.  Download our menu here.

From Monday 6th July, we have created a designated area for small group fitness coaching (5 members per session) and continue with our zoom and on-demand classes.  Visit our class timetable here

We have also invested in two outdoor table tennis courts and a temporary outdoor Pickleball court for all members to enjoy.

Our thoughts continue to be with all our members, course-users and our stakeholders who are navigating these difficult times.  We express particular thanks to our members and those living in our local community who are working within the NHS and in other frontline services to combat coronavirus and save lives.

Clearly, this is a very challenging time for staff and members and we are committed to supporting one another through this unprecedented period in our history.
