World No.8 Johanna Konta leads the British pack and will be a strong contender for the title after securing her 300th career win and sealing a spot in the Aegon Open semi-finals for the first time. She’s joined by Britain’s No.2 and No.3, Heather Watson and Naomi Broady who received wild cards this week.

Two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova was also awarded one of the seven wild cards as she continues her comeback to the WTA Tour.
