From June 19-25, a star-studded field of Grand Slam champions, top 10 players and inspiring Brits will be making their mark at Edgbaston Priory Club.
This year, the tournament will host one of its strongest ever line-ups and players are setting their sights firmly on the WTA Premier prize.
Two-time Grand Slam champion Angelique Kerber, 2016 French Open Champion Garbine Muguruza, world No.5 Elina Svitolina, world No.6, Dominika Cibulkova and reigning Classic champion Madison Keys are just some of the names that make up this year’s mouth-watering draw.
World No.8 Johanna Konta leads the British pack and will be a strong contender for the title after securing her 300th career win and sealing a spot in the Aegon Open semi-finals for the first time. She’s joined by Britain’s No.2 and No.3, Heather Watson and Naomi Broady who received wild cards this week.
Two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova was also awarded one of the seven wild cards as she continues her comeback to the WTA Tour.
