Summer Squash Camps at Edgbaston Priory
After another successful squash season for Edgbaston Priory, we finished in August with some Adult and Junior Squash Camps
We held an Adult Coaching Camp on the weekend of the 14th and 15th August, where adults had the chance to work with EPC Head Coach, Mike Edwards, and train with one of the clubs full time Squash Professional’s, Chris Tasker Grindley
This attracted 6 adults on Saturday and 9 adults on Sunday from Warwickshire, and a couple from Leicester and Worcestershire
All adults had a great weekend, trained really hard although some struggled to walk on the Monday!!!
Monday 16th – Thursday 19th was time for the Junior Squash Camps
We had a lot of local juniors come for the camps as well as players from Worcestershire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire
Again, all the juniors had a chance to work with Mike Edwards at EPC, and train/play with Joel Hinds, Chris Tasker Grindley and Jon Geekie, who are all based at EPC as Full Time Professionals.
This summer camp saw over 12 players per day, and reached a high of 18 on one day.
