Our high performance programme works across a wide age range of players. Juniors from age six can join the mini tennis red groups and develop through the mini orange and green pathways.
Players from 11 to 16 will join the development pathway with the aim by the age of 16 to be eligible to join the LTA Advanced Apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence (AASE).
From 16 to 18 players will develop further to enable the potential of scholarships to either British or American universities, or to transfer onto the men’s and women’s professional circuit.
The centre offers players outstanding facilities in which to train all year round with key partners including BMI Healthcare and Birmingham University providing additional medical, physical and psychological support services – everything required for the performance athlete is available. Optional educational services are also provided by Exam Central for players aged 13 to 18 enabling on-site, face-to-face education services for GCSEs and A levels.
All programmes are bespoke to each player, depending on the athlete’s current requirements, goals and ambitions.
