Competition
The British Tennis Classic has been the highlight of our competitive calendar for the last 28 years. Many of the world's top players grace our grass courts 2 weeks before Wimbledon to compete for the Maud Watson trophy.
Previous winners include Billie Jean King, Martina Navratilova and Maria Sharapova. The tournament will take place between 8 - 14 June 2009. (Right: Anne Keovavong taking part in the 2008 DFS Classic)
Competing at Edgbaston Priory is fun and easy. We offer a comprehensive competition programme throughout the year with many internal and external tournaments taking place.
Tournaments are a great opportunity to put your skills into practice and we offer singles and doubles events for all ages and abilities starting with mini reds up to Veterans.
Juniors
The largest competition of the year is our Junior Open which takes place in August and attracts over 300 juniors from all over the country.
2010 event will take place on 16th - 21st August.

Captains Day, Club Championships (see image below), Maurice Fellows and Victor Sharp tournaments provide the main competition of the year.
